Dr. Harvey Allen Winkler, MD, MBA is the System Chief of the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at Northwell Health and a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. With a focus on pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, vaginal cysts, and post delivery vaginal injury. Dr. Winkler is a highly skilled clinician and surgeon, offering a range of treatment options for each patient. Dr. Winkler has extensive experience in performing pelvic reconstructive procedures laparoscopically/robotically, abdominally, and vaginally, allowing him to tailor treatment plans to meet each patient's specific needs. Moreover, he is dedicated to training future medical professionals, mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. This commitment to education earned him the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award for Excellence in Resident Education in 2012. In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Winkler is actively involved in clinical research. He has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and regularly presents his research at national scientific meetings.
